If you hold down START when starting a DS game on 3DS, it will be scaled 1:1 with black borders. Same with GB and GBC, GBA, etc.

Because melonds is unplayable cuz no 3d resolution upscale, so it's end up a bunch of pixels mess in 3d games. Try to run Kingdom Hearts in Melon DS or Phantasy Star 0. MelonDS.
