The specs for the smaller jig are 60 - 80cm, with the ideal length being 60cm. But it looks like the larger jig allows for more versatility. The other caveat is the keel height.

Here you can see the two piece glued together as guide, and on bottom is one completed, with holes nicely centered in channel. With dots on back from metal template, drilling was easy to determine.
