What does the Pokémon Trainer Club account actually do now?
WEBJan 26, 2024 · I swear that I remember making this account well over a decade ago. During Gen 5 or earlier, I think. There was an official Trainer Card maker (with a limited dress-up sprite) to display ID numbers. I think a forum & online games/quizzes. Point is, I remember the email/password for years & have linked it to multiple games; including Go.

WEBLinking it anew doesn't help, though, it still displays the same thing over and over again - that the pokemon trainer club is already linked to an existing account. So I linked the strange account to a random email I have, deleted the account (took a couple of tries), and was able to link the PTC account!

WEBJul 6, 2020 · Odds are that if you can recover you login for the Trainer Club site you can recover the password for Pokemon Go since the two are typically the same. Had this exact same issue back in 2018. Unfortunately couldn't fix it so i just made a new account and now I'm level 35 on it.
