A very nice walk from Swanage, some lovely views along the way to the Castle with very well maintained trails and plenty of scenic resting spots. Also had kids play areas with rope swings etc.Full review by ianpX7192DK

Hi, my family and I will be visiting Durlston Country Park soon, just wondering if it’s possible to have barbecue picnic area in the park or any nearby?

My family will be visiting Durlston Country Park, this summer. Is it possible to picnic in the park, what facilities for picnicking are there.?
A:
We put a blanket down on the grass below the Globe with a view of the sea, stunning view, despite a misty day! We didn't visit the cafe bit, so unsure if there are picnic tables outside it.
