A gem out in the weirdest place. The visitors center is full of nc brochures from all over nc. I really enjoyed the displays outside and interpretive trail were awesome.Full review by MadMike68

My son will be 6 months old in July, and we were considering taking a short trip down to Suffolk for a couple days. Would it be safe to take him along the boardwalks? He would be riding in his baby carrier on my back, and he would have his sun hat, sunscreen, and bug spray.

I don’t see why not! The boardwalks are well maintained. July is hot, so maybe plan on a morning stroll and definitely bring the bug spray.
