There is a ferry to Brixham from Torquay which is well signposted and times are available there or at tourist info. Greenway ferry leaves from Dartmouth. Passengers only. Park and ride at top of hill going into Dartmouth is best ad town centre gets very busy. All strait forward. You could get a mainline train to Paignton and the steam train to Kingsbridge, cross by short ferry to Dartmouth and go to Greenway by passenger ferry, for a full day out. Or alight from the steam train at a small station and walk through the woods to Greenway. All straight forward and well marked. Lots of info locally. Only the times of each mode of transport to think about carefully.

I'm really confused because I've been told by Greenway ferries that they don't go to Totnes from Dartmouth, only Dartmouth to Greenway and Dittisham to Greenway. But on Tripadvisor someone is saying they enjoyed the trip to Totnes. Please help! I'm trying to find a way of getting from Dartmouth to Totnes by water! Gill
A:
Hello Gill, We used to offer that service, but haven't for several years. We're sorry for the disappointment.
