We didn’t stop long and it was an extremely hot day, but this experience was just okay for us. It was cool to see the dam, but other experiences would be more engaging for teenagers.Full review by GlobeTrotterNL1

Depending on whether you're going to the south rim or west rim it's about an hour away. I definitely suggest doing the west rim over the South rim
