Kachua is an upazila of Bagerhat District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh. Kachua Thana was turned into an upazila in 1983. Distance from Kachua to the district town is 16 km. Kachua is located at 22°39′00″N 89°53′00″E / 22.6500°N 89.8833°E. It has 23,201 households and a total area of 131.62 km².
