But i have been spoilt, been to places like Coron with HUGE grouper staring at you out of an WWII shipwreck, giant clams everwhere or schools of barracuda swimming around, or at Bunaken with stunning wall corals and turtles everywhere. Pink Beach is ok, but no fish biggr than 1 foot and basic corals.
Hi there, Thinking about to visit Lebuhan Bajo only to visit the Pink beach. I will be traveling with a near 5 year old. I don't want to see Komodo dragons nor hike on top on Padar island. Too hard or too scary with a 4 yo. But just like to chill out on the Pink beach as much as we like to but there seems to be no tours to only go there. Of course I can hire a private speed boat but can't spend $1300 for just two of us! Has anyone been only to Pink beach as a tour without going any other places in the Komodo National Park? TIA

Depending on your toddler. For me, the hike up to Padar wasn't that hard. My 5 year old once took less than 10mins climbing Batu Caves stairs...so for her to climb Padar would be ok. …
Depending on your toddler. For me, the hike up to Padar wasn't that hard. My 5 year old once took less than 10mins climbing Batu Caves stairs...so for her to climb Padar would be ok. So it all depends if your kid is able to or not. Getting up to Padar on normal pace takes about 20mins. I recently brought my 1 year baby to Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo Park. It was no issue really. You will have a guide in Komodo park and as long as you adhere to their rules, nothing to be scared of.
