We are bringing a family of five with a teenager and 9 and 10 year old boys - debating the short or long trip? We are all in fairly good shape so I worry the short trip will be over too quickly but the long trip may be too hard and wear them out .. any suggestions?

Hi, the entry point is down a sloping cement boat ramp. At the exit point back at Bastrop, you have to climb a swim ladder onto the floating dock, like a pool. Then you go up some stairs, and then up the gently sloping lawn. It is not too bad. We did canoes, not tubes. Not sure if they offer tubing?
