I should allow plenty of time. Whilst I used the tube from my hotel there was a delay on the line and it took longer to arrive. It was a bit of a rush in the end. I would therefore aim to arrive a good thirty minutes before hand. You could go for lunch or experience an attraction in the morning. The show was awesome I am sure you will enjoy.
looking to book tickets for the show only ones I can see are restricted view as I have 2 kids will it spoil the show?

Sometimes restricted view is only a safety barrier, which is easy to see past.We had tickets like that and there were kids next to us,and they were great seats.
