Hi there,#R# #R# It could take you 15 - 30 minutes to get there by Blue Bird taxi, depending on the traffic. Yes morning is the best time to visit as later it becomes very hot. Ask the driver to take you to Kota Tua or Fatahillah Square (Taman Fatahillah). If possible try to visit PSK (Port of Sunda Kelapa) too as this is where the large wooden trading boats are moored.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a great place to stay in Jakarta Old Town that is close to Fatahillah Square? Battling to find an Airbnb or Boutique Hotel.. Don't want to stay in the big hotels, looking for a smaller place with character :)
