High diversity of different, amazing forms. Incredible scenery given the illumination. Some interesting information provided by guide. Easy access from Jerusalem. Full review by sebal224

It is a wonderful natural site. Although the guide was not very expressive, we enjoyed it very much!. It was the 8th marvel of the world. Full review by mkrasnapolski

An absolute wonderland whose enchantment was utterly shattered by swathes of unruly children and tour guides with inappropriately loud speakers.. Not a moment of peace within this miracle of nature..… Full review by Gadingabout

I think it was about 30 NIS last year - WELL worth the money and v highly recommended. It's a magical place, almost Disneyesque until you make yourself remember that it's "real" and took millions of years to create. I found it awe inspiring and moving. As you come out, look around the surrounding beautiful hills and realise that there are no doubt other undiscovered magnificent haunts like this, underground around you. I've been to Israel many times, but this was my first visit here. The other amazing visit I made for the first time recently was to the 'Bullet Factory' in Rehovot. An thrilling visit that takes you around the hidden factory underground where a team of young kids manufactured bullets under the noses of the British Occupation. Their bravery and the story of how the machinery was smuggled into Israel in small pieces cannot be forgotten once heard. Again, an amazing and very highly moving visit. When I was there, one woman in our group explained how her mother, just arrived from the UK at 17, was one of the original team. Courage, determination, personified. Everyone should go.

The easiest would be to take a taxi to the Soreq Caves ("Maarot HaNetafim"). They have official entrance fee and guides there. The tour starts every 30 or 45 minutes. Very good - small …

I'm considering taking my dad, 86 y old, to visit the cave. He is in good shape, walks just fine but I do no think I should take him if the path is too steep or if it means strenuous exercise. Can anyone tell me how hard the walk is? I know wheelchair is an option but would they have one to rent (like we find in the US)? Thanks so much.
