It's what's left of the medieval city walls. The best remnants can be found near the old castle tower and you can walk around them and take photos. Some green space here as well.Full review by Thomas V

Fragments of the wall remain and these are now being well preserved. I stopped by the Durham Tower today which dates from the 1300's and was used as recently as the 1900'sFull review by Albywon
