Are visitors allowed to get on the buses and look around inside them in situ?
A:
If you ask any of the volunteers that are around the museum they will let you go on most of the buses. Unfortunately due to the age of some of the buses the inside floors are a bit weak.
Note that the museum is now closed for winter and re-opens in April 2017. There is full disabled access to the two main display halls, the cafe and shop. There are disabled parking bays …
Note that the museum is now closed for winter and re-opens in April 2017. There is full disabled access to the two main display halls, the cafe and shop. There are disabled parking bays and a disabled toilet. The Shire Hall, which is the main workshop area and garage has closely parked vehicles which can restrict access on some days.
