Very hi-tech observation deck. The elevator up is special. The reveal of the skyline however is just spectacular. This is a must visit.Full review by alexo585

How long does this tour take if you have a skip the line pass?

One of those tour events where I don’t think the pass is of much value, especially this time of year when the lines are very short or none at all. Like yourself we had a skip the line pass connected to another tour we were on. Went up the elevator without waiting and spent about 1 1/2 hours at the observatory (more than enough time in my opinion). Rented the optional $15 iPad per person that helped to Id the buildings visible from the tower. The display was of poor quality and I probably wouldn’t rent it again. But it was our first visit there so it was worth it.
Can someone tell me how to get there by bus or train from Sheraton hotel Times Square? And what the fare is? Many thanks. Would prefer a bus if possible to see more.

You can also take one the sight seeing buses {hop on hop off}. It's an extra cost but you get to see alot of the city without walking and it goes there
