FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth on MSNDallas Stars fall to 1-3 in series versus Edmonton OilersDALLAS - The Dallas Stars are now just one loss away from playoff elimination. The team had another major blow in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night. Center Roope Hintz returned to the lineup after missing Sunday’s game due to an injury. But his return didn’t fuel much of the team’s offense.
Hintz, who was originally injured after an iffy whack to his foot by Darnell Nurse in Game 2, got another whack early into Game 4 from Edmonton’s Evan Bouchard. Bouchard welcomed Hintz back to the ice by popping him in the injured foot, temporarily staggering Hintz before he was able to skate back to the bench. The play went unpenalized.
"A little bit of the same story, right?" coach Pete DeBoer said after the Stars faltered again in their Game 4 loss to the Oilers.
