Every year there's at least one NFL Draft prospect who is polarizing enough to have the pre-draft news cycle in a chokehold. This year, that title belongs to Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders .

The mystery of what made Shedeur Sanders' team interviews from the NFL combine so polarizing may be solved. Per ESPN's Kalyn Kahler, Sanders took part in the interview process with National Football Scouting that records a player's response and makes them available to all 32 teams.

Reflecting on the latest league happenings in his Sports Illustrated column Monday, Breer wrote he’s “having a really hard time finding coaches or scouts who believe Sanders is a first-round talent,” noting the reservations stem from a multitude of areas.
