A lawsuit filed against Southwest Airlines by the Department of Transportation in January was dropped months later by the Trump administration.

The Trump administration has dropped a Biden-era lawsuit against Southwest Airlines, accusing the company of illegally operating chronically delayed flights.

Back in January, the U.S. Department of Transportation sued Southwest Airlines over claims that the Dallas carrier illegally operates persistently delayed flights. Now, that lawsuit is being dropped.
