Per NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Celtics are "most definitely listening" to trade offers for Jrue Holiday. The two-way guard has been repeatedly mentioned as a trade candidate since word first got around about Boston needing to trim payroll this summer (a need made all the more urgent by Jayson Tatum's Achilles tear).

“There are two great teams that got there,” Antetokounmpo said, referring to the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers reaching the 2025 Finals presented by YouTube TV, “Indiana, with my friend Pascal Siakam, is reaping the rewards, and OKC simply has the MVP [Shai Gilgeous-Alexander]. I’m rooting for good basketball.”

For the third straight year, the Cleveland Cavaliers were bounced early from the NBA Playoffs, this time in a five-game loss to the Indiana Pacers in the conference semifinals. That loss has aged a bit better than it seemed at the time as the Pacers have gone on to the NBA Finals and swiped homecourt advantage from the Oklahoma City Thunder,

The 2024-25 NBA season isn't over quite yet. The Finals kicked off on Thursday, and the underdog Indiana Pacers managed to take a 1-0 lead. The series may have a long way to go, but teams other than Indiana and the Oklahoma City Thunder are already looking ahead to the looming offseason.

The Bulls probably could've also received a first-round pick from the Thunder in last year's Josh Giddey-Alex Caruso trade.
