According to the alert notice, Acevedo was abducted at 9 a.m. Friday and was last seen in the 200 block of Mica Avenue in Virginia Beach. That’s part of a large apartment complex in the Kempsville area of the city, west of Holland Road and south of Interstate 264.
Police believe Juan Acevedo has been abducted due to his family receiving ransom requests since his disappearance.
