A double murderer and a repeat escapee have evaded capture for almost two weeks – leading authorities to believe the fugitives could be anywhere in the US now.
Escapee Antoine Massey was jailed for allegedly strangling his girlfriend and ripping her braids from her scalp. She’s now accused of helping him plan his May 16 escape.
Police have captured Lenton Vanburen Jr., Leo Tate Sr., Jermaine Donald, Corey Boyd, Kendell Myles, Robert Moody, Dkenan Dennis and Gary Price. Massey, 32, may have recognizable face tattoos of chess pieces, but he remains on the run and has evaded authorities thus far.

Jackson police say they are on alert after the search for escaped New Orleans inmates crossed state lines into Mississippi. Adams County law enforcement agencies said Tuesday that there were sightings of one of the inmates in Natchez. His name is Antoine Massey.
