The Belgian Grand Prix is under serious threat of cancellation after heavy rain lashed Spa-Francorchamps, leading to a cancellation of the F3 round.

Formula 1 race control has red-flagged the Belgian Grand Prix before the start due to poor weather conditions around Spa-Francorchamps. As the anticipated rain showers hit the Ardennes hills on Sunday, drivers started the formation lap for the 44-lap race on Pirelli's intermediate tyres.

On Thursday evening in the Ardennes hundreds of team members from various series, drivers, journalists and assorted others gathered on the track at Spa-Francorchamps to ‘Run for Anthoine’.
