Charlotte Douglas International Airport shared its staggering passenger count from 2024 on Thursday, which shattered its previous record set in 2023. On Thursday, Feb. 6, airport officials announced that 2024 welcomed 58.

Movements grew 11%, reaching 596,583 arrivals and departures. That’s up from 539,066 the previous year.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport set a record in 2024 with 58.8 million passengers arriving and departing -- a 10% increase from the previous record of 53.4 million from 2023. This marks the fifth time in eight years that CLT has set a new passenger record.
