Duke baseball was on the doorstep of ending its drought and advancing to the College World Series. Instead, the Blue Devils watched Murray State celebrate.

Game 2 snowballed in Murray State’s favor. Despite a five-run sixth inning to put the hosts within striking distance, a nine-run rally in the seventh stifled the Blue Devils’ hopes. The Racers eventually took the 19-9 victory.
