The Browns learned about Watson’s new medical situation during player exit meetings on Sunday, and said it’s too early to know what it means going forward.

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a setback in his recovery from his ruptured Achilles and, regardless of what the team’s plans were for him before this, it feels like this is a significant moment in his future with the team.

Deshaun Watson will definitely be returning to the Cleveland Browns in 2025, but there's now a chance that he won't be able to play a single down next season.  Browns general manager Andrew Berry revealed on Monday that Watson experienced a setback while recovering from an Achilles injury that he originally suffered in mid-October.
