U.S. supermarket chain Food Lion was recently hit with a cybersecurity attack, the company confirmed last week. Ahold Delhaize announced Friday, Nov. 8 that a “cybersecurity issue” had been recently detected among its USA division and brands.

Food Lion has been hit by a cyberattack. Their parent company detected the intrusion late last week and reached out to law enforcement. In a statement, Food Lion said they've had to take some of their systems offline, and services like pharmacies and e-commerce operations have been affected.
