Tens of millions of people were expected to head out for the holiday weekend, mostly on the roads. But storms slamming parts of the South could make return travel treacherous.
A stormy Memorial Day is expected, with scattered strong to severe storms possible late Sunday evening through Monday evening. Hail and damaging winds will be the main hazards, and heavy rain may lead to isolated instances of flooding. Stay weather aware this weekend! pic.twitter.com/954YZ9Eabt
EDITOR'S NOTE: More than 3.7 million Texans are expected to travel over the Memorial Day weekend, a 3% increase from last year and the third consecutive year of record-breaking travel in the state, according to AAA. On Saturday, hundreds of passengers at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport experienced delays.
The epic event centered around gaming culture features panels, workshops, performances, special guests, cosplay, more than 120 exhibitors, and more and runs through May 25 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Downtown Dallas.
