Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard Darius Garland underwent surgery Monday to repair the injury to his left big toe that forced him out of four playoff games this spring and could, it seems, cause him to miss more time when the new season comes.

Cavaliers guard Darius Garland had surgery Monday on the injured left big toe that hampered him during Cleveland's exit from the playoffs. The Cavaliers said the procedure was performed by Dr. Nicholas Strasser at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville,

The Cavs announced Darius Garland is expected to make a full recovery from surgery and resume basketball activities by the start of training camp.
