Halo Top ice cream promises fewer calories, more protein, and an authentic ice cream taste - but how do their flavors stack up against each other?

A company specializing in a "lighter" type of ice cream is celebrating spring's arrival with free pints. Halo Top will give away 80,000 pints of its ice cream, the company announced on Tuesday, Mar. 11. The pints with mix-ins have 490 calories, which Halo Top says is about half as many calories as other leading ice creams.
