Lionsgate has announced key cast additions to The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, set for release on 20 November 2026. Kieran Culkin will portray Caesar Flickerman, while Elle Fanning joins as a younger Effie Trinket.

Sunrise on the Reaping will release next year, and Lionsgate has confirmed several cast members for the prequel.

Confirming what’s been rumored for weeks, Elle Fanning is now set for the role of Effie Trinket, stylist for Haymitch Abernathy in the lead-up to the 50th Hunger Games, in Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping,
