Texas Democrats on Saturday again prevented their state’s House of Representatives from moving forward with a Trump-backed plan to redraw Texas' congressional map. That redistricting plan would give Republicans an advantage in keeping control of the House of Representatives in D.

Following through on his pledge to use all means necessary to find, arrest and return absconding House Democrats to Texas, the Texas House, led by House Speaker Dustin Burrows, R-Lubbock, sued Democrats hiding out in California.

While the map is accurate, the House seat was not "stolen" by Democrats — the district was drawn by the Republican-controlled Texas state legislature.
