Protests over immigration raids stretched into a fifth night in Los Angeles and spread to other cities, including New York, Chicago and Milwaukee, prompting clashes between police and demonstrators.

A small crowd of people gathered outside Delaney Hall in Newark, N.J. to demonstrate over allegations of poor conditions.

At least four migrant detainees broke out of a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Newark where a riot broke out amongst who attempted to take over the facility, police sources said.
