The United States and the United Kingdom have expressed concern over convictions imposed by Pakistani military courts to 25 civilian supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan over their alleged involvement in riots last year.

Sentenced individuals include Imran Khan's relative, retired officers, linked to protests targeting military facilities after his arrest.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan’s nephew Hassan Khan Niazi is also among those sentenced by military courts.
