The Seattle Mariners are more than halfway through their 10-game road trip. The Mariners are 5-1 through their first six game, comprised of a series sweep against the San Diego Padres and series win against the Chicago White Sox.

This was surely a more grueling trip to Chicago than the Mariners anticipated after sweeping San Diego, dealing with both constantly inclement weather and a surprisingly scrappy White Sox team.

The second grand slam of Julio Rodriguez’s career and a stellar pitching performance by Luis Castillo helped the Mariners win their fourth game in a row Monday.
