Chester Medical Center triggered patient evacuations late Thursday night, with a large response of ambulances and other emergency vehicles arriving at the facility in Upland Borough, Delaware County.

Chopper 6 was over Crozer-Chester Medical Center just before 10 p.m. as firefighters focused on a portion of a building where smoke was billowing from a doorway.
