JCPenney is closing seven stores across the U.S. on Sunday, May 25. Florida ranks third in the U.S. with the number of JCPenney stores. Stores in seven different states will close their doors for the final time Sunday, May 25. The closures will happen over the Memorial Day weekend, and a day before Memorial Day on May 26.
