The warning covers a large swathe of Georgia, along with parts of Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi and Alabama.

A tornado watch has been issued for portions of southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi, primarily along and north of the I-10/12 corridor.

Much of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi remain under a tornado watch until 8 p.m. with severe weather in the forecast Wednesday.
