Brandy is telling her story in her own words as she announces that her memoir will be available this October. “Writing my memoir was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life,” said the Vocal Bible on Instagram.

The soon-to-be 46-year-old singer and mother has announced she’s releasing a memoir in a People exclusive. Scheduled for an Oct. 7, 2025 release, the book is untitled at the moment, but fans can expect to get an inside look at how the artist went from a little in Mississippi with big dreams to becoming the “Vocal Bible.
