The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a disturbance in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. According to the NHC, a cluster of showers and thunderstorms is becoming more organized near a broad area of low pressure.

A tropical rainstorm could develop into either a depression or a tropical storm on Wednesday, forecasters say.

Tropical Depression One-E has formed in the eastern Pacific and is moving toward the western coast of Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center.
