A man was critically injured Tuesday after police say someone pushed him in front of a train at a Manhattan subway station.It happened around 1:30 p.m. on the downtown platform at the 18th Street subway station in Chelsea.

A woman who died after being set on fire on a New York City subway train this month has been identified, according to police. The woman was identified as 61-year-old Debrina Kawam of Toms River, New Jersey,

New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority said it will begin congestion pricing tolling on Sunday despite New Jersey officials claiming that a U.S. district judge's ruling disallows the plan.

Congestion pricing is moving ahead after a decision issued by a federal judge allowed a lawsuit brought by NJ officials to move forward — in part.

After reviewing Federal Judge Leo Gordon's ruling to stop New York City congestion pricing, the MTA says it plans on putting the tolling plan into effect on Sunday. However, attorneys representing New Jersey are saying Monday's opinion is actually a victory for the Garden State.
