Authorities have arrested over 70 people during protests in the U.K. over the British government's decision to classify the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action as a terrorist organization.

Charlotte Church has joined hundreds of peace campaigners in opposing the ban on Palestine Action. The singer has called the ban an "abuse and misuse" of terrorism laws and signed a letter which describes the ban as "a major assault on our freedoms".
