A boy was hospitalized and later died after a shooting on Coral Gables Court in south Sacramento's Meadowview neighborhood, police said Tuesday night.

A teenage boy shot late Tuesday night in Sacramento’s Meadowview neighborhood has died, authorities said. The shooting happened just before 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Coral Gables Court, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The victim, described only as a male juvenile about 15 years old, was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
