Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park that is often overshadowed by its bigger brother in Orlando. However, USH is getting ready to make a huge statement with a brand new roller coaster based on a franchise that has needed its own roller coaster for decades.

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will be the first high-speed outdoor coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood. The park’s two existing coasters include the 2004 Revenge of the Mummy indoor coaster and the 2016 Flight of the Hippogriff outdoor kiddie coaster.

The new attraction is set to open in 2026, and reportedly checks in as Universal Studios' fastest roller coaster, with a speed as high as 72 mph. A first look at the new Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift attraction was released on Friday, June 13, and The Hollywood Reporter revealed the video.
