With Makhi Hughes out the door after two years as the top running back, the Green Wave will have to break in a new top rusher, or rushers, potentially. Retzlaff can be added to that mix and help take some of the heat off the run game, especially early in the season.

Tulane reportedly has a new quarterback on campus with BYU's Jake Retzlaff transferring to play for the Green Wave as a walk-on this season, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. Retzlaff led BYU to an 11-2 record last season as he completed 213 of 368 pass attempts for 2,947 yards, 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
