Baltimore Orioles outfielder Tyler O'Neill recorded a home run on his sixth consecutive Opening Day on Thursday, launching a three-run shot in the third inning against Toronto Blue Jays right-hander José Berríos to extend his own record.

For six seasons in a row, Tyler O’Neill has homered on Opening Day. The extending of his MLB record helped his team to a 12-2 win against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Tyler O’Neill has done it again. During his Orioles debut on Thursday, O’Neill, 29, belted a three-run homer, marking his sixth straight homer on Opening Day. The Canada native’s third-inning blast was a part of a six-roundtripper effort from the Orioles as they took down the Blue Jays, 12-2.
