Clemson responded to take the lead. Cam Cannarella hit a leadoff double and advanced to third after a Jarren Purify single. Cannarella plated the tying run on a wild pitch. Then, Dominic Listi hit a two-out two-run home run to give the Tigers the lead.
Clay Grady hit a two-run single to cap a three-run sixth inning for the No. 12 seed Hokies, who will face No. 5 seed Clemson at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
