Warner Bros. Discovery has cancelled its long-awaited Wonder Woman video game, as well as shut down three game development studios. Another day, another round of layoffs in the video games industry. As first reported by Bloomberg,

WB Games, the video game publishing arm of Warner Bros. Discovery, is shutting down three of its development studios, including the developer behind Multiversus and a long-standing developer working on an upcoming Wonder Woman game.

In disappointing news, the Wonder Woman game that was announced back in 2021 ( and rebooted in 2024) has been cancelled. Rumours of the cancellation spread yesterday evening, but it has been confirmed today (26th February 2025). The game is no more, and three Warner Bros Games development studios are closing.
