According to reports by Bloomberg and CBS News, Honda has said it will move production of its Civic Hybrid hatchback from Japan to the United States in response to president Donald Trump’s 25% tariff on

Honda’s Indiana factory employs roughly 2,700 people and currently handles production of the Civic hatchback and CR-V. It also plans to shift production of the Accord from a site in Marysville, Ohio, to the Indiana site, although it’s unclear if moving Civic Hybrid production from Japan will impact these plans.
