The ZL1 packed a 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8 engine that made 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque, making for most powerful engine installed in a production Camaro yet.

When equipped by the Chevy Camaro ZL1, the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine is rated at 650 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 650 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm.

The 6.2-liter V8 will find room into the last 2024 ZL1 Camaro being produced. According to Motortrend, engine builder Billy Burke was the one who supervised the build of the last of Mohicans.
